Once more we ran amongst the ferns
to touch the things for which we’d yearn
’twas wet and wilde and things of fire
as we danced for high desire

inside that sweet and molten grace
my feathers flapped and kissed my face
the cracks within my windowpain
were gone and left me whole again!
